She has over 20 years of experience in healthcare management, including at Johns Hopkins, where she focused on budget development and oversight. She holds a Master of Social Work degree. Tamasi and her husband have two children who have attended local public schools. She is the Walk Chair for the Mendhams Stigma Free Task Force and is a founding member and past President of the Mendham Township Education Foundation (MTEF).
