Elizabeth "Liz" Grasher has been a Steilacoom resident for over 12 years and was elected to the Town Council in 2021. She holds a master's degree in counseling psychology and works as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Mental Health Counselor for Joint Base Lewis McChord. Additionally, she is an adjunct psychology professor at Saint Martin's University. Before her council role, she served as a Steilacoom Planning Commissioner. Grasher is an active community volunteer with organizations such as the Steilacoom Historical Museum Association, Kiwanis Club of Steilacoom, and is a board member for the Living Access Support Alliance (LASA). She was named the 2024 Steilacoom Citizen of the Year.
