A resident of Covington since 2004, Elizabeth Porter was appointed to the City Council in August 2020. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Western Washington University and has a 25-year career in retail management and operations, now working as a Project Manager. Prior to her appointment, she served for three years on Covington's Planning Commission. She is also the current president of the Covington Rotary Club.
