A Covington resident since 2004, Elizabeth (Beth) Porter was appointed to the City Council in August 2020. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Western Washington University and has spent 25 years in retail management and operations, now working as a Project Manager. Prior to her appointment, she served for three years on Covington's Planning Commission.
