Elizabeth "Libby" Urner Wennstrom has been a resident of Port Townsend since 1998. Before her election to the City Council, she was active in the community, working with organizations such as the Wooden Boat Foundation, the Farmer's Market, and Jefferson Land Trust. In her professional career, she has worked as a technical writer and documentation project manager. Wennstrom has also been a long-time community volunteer for Port Townsend Public Schools and Key City Public Theatre, and serves as Board President for Salish Rescue. Outside of her council duties, she works in the technology sector managing software transition projects and is a board member and costume designer for Saltfire Theatre.
