Elizabeth Winer was first appointed to the school board in June 2023 and was subsequently elected to the position. She has been a teacher for over 11 years and currently works as a high school science teacher for Insight School of Washington. Winer holds a Master's degree in education from the University of Findlay and a Bachelor of Science in secondary education from Central Michigan University. She has previously served on the board of the Big Sky homeowners' association and is married with two children attending Cheney schools.
