Elsa Martin graduated from Cheney High School in 2005 and holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Montana State University. She began her career working as an EPC contractor in the refining, semi-conductor, and municipal sectors before moving into project management. After having children, she became the director of children's ministry at a local church and currently homeschools her four children. This is her first time running for public office.
