Before his legislative career, Bergquist worked in research and development at Textron Aviation and served 15 years on the Park City City Council, including a stint as mayor, retiring in 2013 to spend more time with family. He advocates for limited government, individual liberty, traditional family values, and efficient, accountable use of tax dollars.
