A native of Central Florida and a two-time Teacher of the Year, Erika Booth spent most of her professional career as a classroom educator and also worked as a project manager for the Youth Leadership Osceola and Project OPEN programs serving at-risk youth and adults. A former Osceola County School Board member, she holds two bachelor's degrees from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida, and completed the Education Leadership program at Stetson University. She is married to Osceola County Commissioner Ricky Booth and has three children.
