Erin Byrnes is a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, representing District 15 since 2023. She previously served on the Dearborn City Council from 2018 to 2023 and worked as an educator at the University of Michigan, as well as a middle school special education teacher in New York City. Byrnes earned a bachelor's degree in women's and gender studies from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a master's degree in education from Brooklyn College. She is a candidate for State Senate.
