Ethan Penner is a real estate investor and the CEO of Mosaic Real Estate Investors, a firm he co-founded in 2015. He is widely credited with being a primary creator of the Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS) market in the 1990s while at Nomura Securities. His career of over 30 years in real estate and finance also includes founding and leading CBRE Capital Partners in 2008. Penner has also served as an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University's Graziadio School of Business and the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. He is the author of the book "Greatness is a Choice," published in 2023.
