Eva Olivia Chase

Eva Olivia Chase is a progressive Democratic candidate for the Nevada State Assembly, District 16, in the 2026 primary election. A fully transitioned trans woman and a U.S. Air Force veteran (1980-1991), she holds a bachelor's degree from the University of West Florida, alongside earlier associate degrees. Her professional background includes 16 years as an education specialist and teacher, notably at Mandalay Bay and Shark Reef Aquarium. Affiliated with Trans Pride of Las Vegas and SW DEMOCRATS, Chase has lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, since 2007, having moved from Pensacola, Florida. She previously ran in the 2024 Democratic primary, securing 27% of the vote.
