Felix Cortes was first appointed to the Prosser City Council in August 2021 and was elected in 2021. His current term expires in 2025. A Prosser High School graduate of 2001, his family established the El Caporal Mexican restaurant in Prosser. His wife is a Transitional Kindergarten teacher at Whitstran Elementary School.
