Frank Atwood

Frank Atwood is a candidate for Lt. Governor Colorado Primary Election in 2026 in Statewide, Colorado.

Candidate for U.S. Senate in Littleton, CO

Also running: Joshua Hampton, Wayne Harlos.

Frank Atwood is a political candidate from Colorado, known for advocating Approval Voting. After serving in the army and earning a Purple Heart in Vietnam, he worked for the Navy for 25 years with an engineering degree. Initially an unenthusiastic Republican, he became a Libertarian in the 1990s, driven by concerns over "wasted votes" and "spoiler" candidates in plurality elections. Atwood champions Approval Voting as a superior method to overcome these issues. He is fiscally responsible and socially tolerant, and has been active in Littleton politics, successfully repealing the city grocery tax.
