Frank Atwood is a political candidate from Colorado, known for advocating Approval Voting. After serving in the army and earning a Purple Heart in Vietnam, he worked for the Navy for 25 years with an engineering degree. Initially an unenthusiastic Republican, he became a Libertarian in the 1990s, driven by concerns over "wasted votes" and "spoiler" candidates in plurality elections. Atwood champions Approval Voting as a superior method to overcome these issues. He is fiscally responsible and socially tolerant, and has been active in Littleton politics, successfully repealing the city grocery tax.
