Frank King is a 2004 graduate of Yelm High School and a small business owner who has resided in the district for 30 years. He was appointed to the Yelm Community Schools Board of Directors for District 1 in July 2024 to fill a vacancy. He stated his motivation for joining the board was to be more engaged in the education of his children, who are students in the district. King has expressed a desire to give back to the community and prides himself on being a team player with honesty and integrity.
