Fred M. Price, Jr. is a Republican committee member for Legislative District 47 in Maryland. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, he has a background in federal government work, including for the Highway Administration and Bowie State University. Price previously served as a Town Councilperson in Cheverly from 1984 to 1986. He has also been a candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates and State Senate. He is a member of Hemingway Memorial AME Church and has been actively involved in his community, including twice serving as Chairman of the NAACP Region 7. He is married and has a daughter, one grandson, and two great-grandsons.
