Frederick Adams was appointed as a District Court Judge in Judicial District 21 (now District 31) by Governor Roy Cooper on September 30, 2021. He assumed office on January 1, 2024, for a term ending December 31, 2025. Prior to his appointment, he was the principal owner of The Law Offices of Frederick B. Adams, P.C. in Winston-Salem. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Winston-Salem State University. Adams earned his Bachelor of Science from Bluefield College and his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest University School of Law.
