Gail "missy" Armstrong

Gail "Missy" Armstrong, a Republican, serves as the State Representative for New Mexico's 49th District, a position she has held since 2017. Born in Socorro and raised in Socorro and Catron, she is a businesswoman, currently serving as President of Pro-Fab, Inc., and previously owning TLC Plumbing. Effective January 2025, she also assumed the role of House Minority Leader. Armstrong is running for re-election in the June 2, 2026 Republican primary. She has voted against expanding firearm background checks, citing rural enforcement concerns, and has pledged to support congressional term limits. She and her husband, Dale, have four children.
