Garfield Scott is a third-generation Clarksville native and lifelong resident of Tennessee's District 68. A retired truck driver, he previously worked as a cattle farmer, raising grain and tobacco on his family's St. Bethlehem farm for nearly 40 years. He is a married father of two with one grandchild and a longtime member of St. Bethlehem Church. Raised in a large family and a product of the local public school system, he emphasizes compassion and human connection, drawing on diverse life and career experiences. Scott is running as a Democratic candidate for the Tennessee House of Representatives, District 68. His campaign priorities include supporting public education, developing infrastructure for future growth, and holding corporations accountable for public investments. He has also pledged his support for congressional term limits.
