Gary Vanderholm is a long-serving member of the Riverside School Board, having been on the board for approximately 25 years. He is a graduate of Riverside High School (1971) and attended Spokane Falls Community College and Rick's College. Before retiring due to health issues, he owned his own farm and seed supply business, including Deer Park Feed and Seed and Newport Feed and Seed. Many of his grandchildren attend school in the district, which motivates his continued service.
