George Margetas is a Republican candidate for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives District 196 in the 2026 special and regular elections. A lifelong resident of York County, he earned a bachelor's degree from Dickinson College and a law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Margetas currently serves as a West Manchester Township Supervisor and operates his own legal practice. He previously spent a decade serving on the West York Area School Board.
