Germaine Kornegay

Germaine Kornegay moved to Skagit County over 30 years ago. She is the owner of Animal House Pet Grooming in Sedro-Woolley. Kornegay served two terms as a Sedro-Woolley City Councilmember starting in 2014 and was a Skagit County Public Utility District Commissioner from 2020 to 2022. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services with a minor in Psychology from Western Washington University and an Associate of Arts from Skagit Valley College. She has served on the boards of the United Way of Skagit County and the Secret Harbor Foster Care Agency.
