Glen Kocsis

Glen Kocsis is an incumbent Councilman for Neptune City, where he has resided for over 12 years. First elected in November 2017, he is dedicated to common-sense government, prioritizing residents over politics. A third-generation Sheet Metal Local 27 Union Member and seasoned sheet metal worker for two decades, he applies a strong work ethic to his public service. Kocsis is active in local volunteer services, including the Neptune City Volunteer Fire Police and CERT, where he assisted during Superstorm Sandy. He earned an A.S. in Criminal Justice – Political Science from Middlesex County College. He currently chairs the Human Services Committee and co-chairs DPW, having led or co-led various committees previously. He spearheaded initiatives like the MCSPCA “T & R” program, the Trex Recycled Plastic Bags Program, Sustainable Jersey appointment, and the First Responder’s Park renewal. He seeks re-election to continue advocating for his community.
