Glenn York is the current Mayor of Zebulon, serving his first term since 2021. He is a lifelong resident of the town. Prior to being elected mayor, he served as a Town Commissioner for six years, including two years as Mayor Pro Tem. His career includes 31 years with the North Carolina Department of Public Safety. He holds a Bachelor of Science from North Carolina Central University and a Practical Nursing degree from Wake Technical College.
