Graham 'Gib' Black has been a resident of San Juan Island with his wife and three children since 2009. His family has a long history in the San Juan Islands, spanning five generations. He is the owner and manager of gProjects LLC, a company that has focused on building highly sustainable and contemporary homes in the Seattle area since 2003. Prior to his work in development, he practiced land use and municipal law, working with local governments. Black is a graduate of Macalester College and Seattle University School of Law. He was first elected to the Port Commissioner position in November 2019 for a six-year term.
