Graig Meyer has served in the North Carolina General Assembly since 2013, first in the House of Representatives and, since 2023, in the Senate. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and earned a bachelor's degree from the College of Wooster and a master's degree in social work from the University of Chicago. Before becoming a legislator, Meyer worked in public schools for sixteen years, notably as the coordinator for the Blue Ribbon Mentor-Advocate program. He is also a co-founder and principal consultant with The Equity Collaborative, LLC. He lives in Orange County with his partner and children.
