Grant Amjad Miller is the incumbent Democratic State Representative for Utah's House District 24, serving since 2025. A public defender by profession, he earned his J.D. from the University of Utah. Miller is the first Palestinian American elected to the state house, having moved to Utah as a child. Before his legal career, he was a professional trombonist. He sits on the Judiciary and Economic Development committees and advocates for criminal justice reform, including abolishing the death penalty and legalizing recreational marijuana. He also supports protecting abortion access, expanding mental health care, and addressing homelessness. He is active in the legal community and was recognized in Utah Business Magazine's "40 Under 40" in 2023.
