Greg VanWoerkom is the incumbent state representative for Michigan's 88th House District, a position he has held since 2023 after previously representing the 91st District since 2019. A Republican, he has served on the House Appropriations Committee. Before his election to the state legislature, VanWoerkom was the district director for U.S. Representative Bill Huizenga and a senior policy advisor to U.S. Representative Pete Hoekstra. He earned a master's degree from George Washington University.
