Griselda Arias is a state public-health manager and an Iraq War veteran who served in the Army National Guard. Born in the Yakima Valley, she is a first-generation Mexican-American. She moved to Yelm in 2017 and previously served as an administrator at Sea Mar Community Health Center in Yelm. Arias is the chair of the Thurston County Veterans Advisory Board and a volunteer with the Yelm Lions Club. She holds degrees in public health and health administration.
