Hector Mujica is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House representing Florida's 28th Congressional District. He previously ran in the 2026 U.S. Senate special election in Florida before pivoting to the House race. Mujica spent over a decade at Google, most recently serving as Head of Economic Opportunity for the Americas at Google.org. A first-generation Venezuelan American, he earned a bachelor's degree from Florida International University and a master's from UC Berkeley.
