Hillary Scholten is an American politician and attorney serving as the U.S. representative for Michigan's 3rd congressional district since 2023 [1.5]. A member of the Democratic Party, Scholten previously worked as a staff attorney at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center and as an attorney adviser for the U.S. Department of Justice. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Gordon College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law.
