Howard Watts III is an incumbent Democratic member of the Nevada State Assembly, representing District 15. A lifelong Nevada resident, he earned a bachelor's degree in political science from UNLV in 2011. He assumed office in November 2018 and currently serves as Majority Whip, chairing committees on Growth and Infrastructure and Natural Resources. Watts advocates for protecting reproductive rights, reinvesting in arts and culture, promoting water conservation and clean energy, lowering healthcare and housing costs, reforming criminal justice, and increasing public school funding and teacher salaries. He is dedicated to being a strong voice for his community in the legislature.
