Hugo Vargas

Hugo Vargas is a Republican and constitutional conservative who has called Southwest Florida home for more than 40 years and serves as a City Commissioner for the City of LaBelle. A first-generation American and the son of farm workers who became U.S. citizens, he attended vocational school after high school, learned barbering, and became a small business owner. He and his wife Natasha raised four children in Southwest Florida. He serves on the Deacon Board at his church and on the boards of the Hendry County Economic Development Council, Lee/Hendry Habitat for Humanity, and HCA Florida Lehigh Hospital, and was appointed by Governor Ron DeSantis to the Florida State Barber Board.
