Jace Cotton

Jace Cotton is the incumbent At-Large member of the Bellingham City Council, having held the position since January 2024. He is the first openly gay elected official in Whatcom County. His professional background includes roles as a public K-12 paraeducator, a pandemic grocery worker, and a campaign manager for the Whatcom Democrats. As a councilmember, he chairs the Community and Economic Development Committee and serves on the Climate Action and the Parks and Recreation Committees.
