Jack Bailey

John Daniel "Jack" Bailey is a Republican member of the Maryland State Senate representing District 29, which encompasses parts of Calvert and St. Mary's Counties. He was first elected to the Senate in 2018, assuming office on January 9, 2019. Prior to his career in state politics, Bailey dedicated over two decades to law enforcement as a conservation officer with the Maryland Natural Resources Police. His academic credentials include both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in management, which he earned from Johns Hopkins University.
