Primary election
Past campaign details are available on the full race page.
Jack L. Stockton, currently the Roane County Sheriff, is seeking election to the Tennessee House of Representatives for District 32 in the 2026 Republican Primary. First elected sheriff in 2006 and re-elected four times, his current term concludes in late August 2026. Stockton decided to run for state representative after receiving many calls and much prayer, believing it's time to move beyond law enforcement to address district concerns in Nashville. He identifies as a "Republican through and through," a fan of Donald Trump, and supports Tennessee's conservative values, while emphasizing his willingness to work across the aisle.
