Jack McEntire, a Democrat, is a professional sculptor from Selah, Washington, running for the State House of Representatives District 15-Position 1. He holds a B.S. in microbiology and immunology from the University of Washington and first became involved in politics during high school. McEntire serves as a Precinct Committee Officer and vice-chair of the Yakima County Democrats, and is a board member for the City of Yakima Arts Commission and Yakima Maker Space. He has previously contended for this same House seat in the 2018 and 2020 general elections.
