Jackie Rogers

Jackie Rogers is a native of Lenoir County and a graduate of South Lenoir High School. His career in law enforcement began at the Kinston Police Department, where he worked in Patrol, the Police Community Action Team, Narcotics Investigations, and the SWAT team. He later became a North Carolina State Trooper, retiring after 30 years of service. He was elected Sheriff of Lenoir County in November 2022 and took office on December 5, 2022. Rogers completed Basic Law Enforcement Training at Pitt Community College and holds Intermediate and Advanced Law Enforcement certifications. He is also a recipient of the Long Leaf Pine Award from the Governor of North Carolina.
