Jacob Bossman, a Republican State Representative for District 14 in Iowa, is currently serving his second term. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1980, he resides in Sioux City with his wife, Carmen, and their two children. He earned a B.S. in economics from Morningside College. Before his legislative career, Bossman served as Regional Director for U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley and as city co-chair for the Woodbury County Republican Party. He is actively involved in community service, including volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland. As a representative, he championed House File 196, expanding loan repayment eligibility for healthcare professionals. He is running for re-election in the Republican primary on June 2, 2026.
