Jacquez Johnson is a Thomasville native and a teacher at his alma mater, Thomasville High School. He graduated from Appalachian State University in 2023. After losing his parents at a young age, he found purpose in community service. He was elected to the City Council in 2023, becoming the youngest elected member in the city's history. His life has been focused on investing in youth, cleaning up neglected areas of the city, and bringing new energy to local government.
