Jake Fey

Jake Fey is an incumbent State Representative for Washington's 27th District, a role he assumed in 2013. Born in Port Angeles, he is a lifelong progressive with degrees in political science and public administration. Fey previously served on the Tacoma City Council, as Deputy Mayor of Tacoma, and as director of the WSU Energy program. He is seeking re-election in 2026, campaigning on a platform of urgent climate action, combating homelessness, investing in transportation, supporting living wage jobs, affordable higher education, and protecting healthcare, including reproductive and gender-affirming care. His past legislative work includes investments in green transit, affordable housing, behavioral health services, and carbon reduction.
