Jake Fitisemanu

Jake Fitisemanu serves as the Representative for Utah House District 30, having assumed office in January 2025. Born in New Zealand and raised in Hawai'i and Utah, he resides in West Valley City with his wife and daughters. With degrees in Social Sciences and Public Health, he has over thirteen years of experience in public health initiatives. Fitisemanu was a presidential advisor to Barack Obama and served on advisory commissions for the U.S. Census Bureau and the National Academy of Medicine. As a freshman legislator, he focuses on Social Services Appropriations, Health & Human Services, and Political Subdivisions, championing legislation like Medicare Supplement Amendments and Traditional Healing Amendments. He is committed to improving quality of life through grassroots initiatives, youth development, cultural enrichment, and civic engagement.
