James Bush III is a former Democratic member of the Florida House of Representatives, having represented District 109 in Miami-Dade County across three separate stints: 1992–2000, 2008–2010, and 2018–2022. He is a retired educator who worked as a teacher and administrator in the Miami-Dade County Public School system for over 30 years. An ordained Baptist minister, Bush earned a bachelor's degree from Bethune-Cookman University and a master's degree from Nova Southeastern University.
