James Etzkorn

James Etzkorn is running as an Independent to represent Washington’s 1st Congressional District. He is an electrical engineer, a father, and a community problem-solver who is tired of watching career politicians prioritize partisan games over actual results.

Born and raised in Washington, James holds a Master’s in Nanotechnology and over 50 patents. He has spent his adult life volunteering in local education, culminating in his service on the Monroe School District Board of Directors. James governs the exact way he runs engineering projects: by using data, tracking metrics and focusing strictly on outcomes rather than just dollars spent. He is running to break the failing cycle of the two-party system and bring 21st-century, problem-solving leadership to Congress.
