James F. Wade, Sr. is a Democratic candidate running for County Commissioner in District 3 of Charles County, Maryland. A dedicated public servant and decorated veteran, Wade served 22 years in the military before dedicating another 18 years to federal government service. A long-time resident of Waldorf, he brings over forty years of strategic planning and leadership experience to his local campaign. Wade has a strong history of veteran advocacy, previously serving as State Commander of the Maryland Veterans of Foreign Wars and currently chairing the Baltimore War Memorial. In 2025, he joined the Charles County Democratic Central Committee.
