James Glass

James "Steve" Glass has served on the Ciudad Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors since 2003 and has been the Chairman for most of his tenure. He holds an MS in Biology from New Mexico State University. His career includes ten years in environmental science research and 23 years in environmental compliance for local government agencies before retiring in 2011. He is also a part-time faculty member at Central New Mexico Community College, teaching biology and environmental science. Glass has been appointed to several commissions, including the NM Water Quality Control Commission (2003-2013) and the NM Soil and Water Conservation Commission (2014-present).
