James Michael Neese, also known as Mike Neese, is a Republican politician currently serving in the South Carolina House of Representatives, representing the 44th district. This district covers the northernmost part of Lancaster County, including suburbs of the Charlotte metropolitan area. Born on October 22, 1969, Neese was first elected to office in the 2022 election, where he successfully defeated Democratic nominee Katie Crosby. He began his current term in 2023. As an incumbent, he is seeking re-election to continue his representation of District 44.
