James D. Oberweis is an American businessman, investment manager, and politician. He is the former chairman of Oberweis Dairy and previously served in the Illinois State Senate representing the 25th district from 2013 to 2021. After multiple campaigns for higher office in Illinois, he relocated to Florida and is currently running as a Republican for the U.S. House of Representatives in Florida's 19th Congressional District.
