James "Jamie" Davis Jr. is a third-generation farmer, small-business owner, and former Tensas Parish Police Juror. Raised in the Louisiana Delta, he studied electrical engineering at Louisiana State University. He currently owns and operates Davis Farms, a 2,000-acre farm producing sorghum, corn, soybeans, and cotton. A member of the Louisiana Democratic State Central Committee, Davis is running for the U.S. Senate to expand access to affordable healthcare and strengthen the economy.
