Jamie Dykes serves as the Republican State's Attorney for Wicomico County, Maryland. A lifelong resident of the county, she is a graduate of Parkside High School, Salisbury State University, and the University of Baltimore School of Law. Her legal career includes serving as a law clerk in Dorchester County and as a Senior Assistant State's Attorney in Wicomico County from 2006 to 2015. After a period in private practice and as Deputy State's Attorney for Dorchester County, she was appointed Wicomico County State's Attorney in 2017 and subsequently won elections in 2018 and 2022. She is committed to ensuring public safety through the fair and professional prosecution of those who violate the law.
